I'm so sick and tried of all these young adult novels with asshole love-interest in them. They're complete jerks to the girl they 'love' and the girls just eat it up and say, 'He does it because he loves me!'.

This is what women in abusive relationships say.

How do I know?

I was in a mental abusive relationship two years ago, my mom was in a short-lived physical abusive relationship a few years before she married my dad and a good family friend was beaten by her boyfriend.

I'm not saying all Young Adult novels are like this, The Nevermore Trilogy by Kelly Creagh is a great book without the 'love at first sight' shit.

Who do I think are the worst so far?

Edward Cullen in the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer

Patch Cipriano from Hush, Hush, Crescendo and soon to be Slience by Becca Fitzpatrick

Daniel Grigori of the Fallen Series by Laren Kate.

Sam Uley from the Twilight series by Stepehnie Meyer (~AngelicHaela)

I don't know why girls swoon over these guys; if they were real, they would have cops called on them!
